Sažetak
Addition of CNTs in the PCL (polycaprolactone) improves thermal and mechanical properties of PCL. That’s why in most cases CNTs are added to biodegradable PCL and such nanocomposite has a significant application for prosthetic leg. Investigated PCL/MWCNT nanocomposites were prepared by Brabender mixer as well as by dissolution in THF. The content of nanofiller was 1, 2 , 3 and 5 % wt. The infulence of MWCNT on the thermal stability and crystallinity was determined by simultaneous thermal analyzer (STA). Microstructure was performed by Field- Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM). Mechanical and Dynamic–mechanical properties were followed by Zwick Universal Mechanical Testing Machine and Dynamic-mechanical Analyzer (DMA). Results showed incresing crystallinity and better final properties with incresing MWCNT content in biodegradable PCL matrix.
