Sažetak
One of the basic principles of an integrated passenger public transport is establishing a unified tariff model applicable on the observed area of integration, in which passengers commute regularly. Designing the tariff models in the system is a challenging process of combining the wants and needs of all participants of the system, particularly the income of the operator, i.e. the passenger expenditures. Shaping the structure of the tariff is an essential part of modelling a tariff system, which is preceded by a detailed analysis of the systems that had already been set up in the EU member states. Based on the analysed tariff system solutions and the specificity of the area, a proposal of the tariff model in integrated passenger public transport for the area of the city of Zagreb, the Zagreb county, and the Krapina – Zagorje county was made.
