Sažetak
In order to study the AIDS – related knowledge, attitudes, and behavioral change relevant for HIV transmission among student san elaborate questionnaire was anonymously administered to 750 students of social work, psychology, law, medicine, and agriculture. The overall knowledge level was fairly good. It was considerably better in transmission and risk reduction domain, than in individually less important issues. Differences among groups of students were found, moderately liberal orientation advocating rights to AIDS patients to all health and attitudes correlated moderately (0.34), while no correlation with behavioral change was found. Iti s concluded that factual information need to be tuned for specific groups, programs have to be consistent with the values, beliefs, and attitudes of the people, while motivation for behavioral change has to be studied in order to have effective anti-AIDS programs.
