Sažetak
Network of meteorological-oceanographic stations has been under development. For time being several measuring stations have been under operation along seaside of the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea. This system serves for measuring different meteorological and oceanographic parameters and viewing of weather conditions by web camera. All data have been transmitted in real time by fixed phone network or cellular telephone to receiving centre and archived in MEDAS database developed by ORACLE RDBMS. After validation, measured data have been sent to web server as row data in real time. In addition, daily, weekly, monthly and annually statistics of measured data has been presented in graphic forms using Java-scripts and ArcInfo GIS tools. Using numerical model with assimilation of measuring data, weather condition hind cast can be calculated in wide area of the Adriatic Sea. This system can be very useful for various users in tourism, fisheries, planning, research and decision-making organisations, etc.
