Sažetak
The research describes the recent territorial changes of the Diocese of Varaždin. Descriptive steps were given for the diocese of Varaždin within administration of the Catholic Church in Croatia and its inner structure and also creation of the map, from gathering the spatial data, using online services and much more. It also describes individual different kind of software and how they were used. It also shows the problems for special map contents and some of the solutions to those problems, specifically, the divergence of the borders gathered from various sources. The results of this long-lasting data collection is a new map of Diocese of Varaždin. GIS and collecting the data of the special map content was the first step and the data source for the map visualization of the dioceses of Varaždin.
