Sažetak
In this paper, a method for analyzing metasurface parallel-plate waveguides with glide symmetry is presented. The approach is based on the Floquet-mode representation of the electromagnetic field inside a parallel-plate waveguide, and on matching it with the field at the surface of the considered metasurface plates. In this way, a characteristic equation for the waveguide mode propagation constant is derived. The developed analysis method is verified by comparing the calculated propagation constant with the results obtained using a general electromagnetic solver.
