Sažetak
Methods for estimation of strain-life fatigue parameters based on monotonic properties are commonly used in engineering practice. Most methods are usually developed for all steel or alloy families together, disregarding their particularities. Since certain methods do address those groups separately, but without prior analysis of their differences, this paper provides a formal investigation of differences between unalloyed, low-alloy and high-alloy steels with respect to their strain-life parameters.
