Sažetak
The biodiesel (FAME) blending project in Sisak Refinery is accomplished due to the obligation to place biofuels on the market. Apart from Eurodiesel, blending of biofuel into motor gasoline is planned as well. Pros and cons analysis of considered biofuels blending in Sisak Refinery, ethanol and ETBE, resulted in favor of ethanol. Therefore, second phase biofuels implementation in the Sisak Refinery that will enable ethanol blending is in progress. In the meanwhile, the decision about ETBE purchase is ongoing due to the ETBE price decrease. ETBE purchase and blending would increase the total amount of biofuels that INA places on the market in 2013. Particular advantage of ETBE purchase is that the receiving, storage and blending installation is prepared since ETBE would be stored in the tank currently used for MTBE. The paper shows recipe proposal for blending with ETBE and ethanol, the comparison of previous blending and planned ones, interdependence of MTBE, ETBE and ethanol contents and corresponding financial analysis. The paper includes as well specificities and potential problems regarding the two new components blending in Sisak Refinery.
