Sažetak
The aim of the textbook is to acquaint students with legal English as an indispensable tool for modern Croatian legal professionals. The book consists of four modules ; 1. Introduction to Law ; 2. Anglo-American Legal System ; 3. Branches of English Law ; and 4. Introduction to International ans Supranational Law. The introductory texts and authentic materials in each unit ensure that students are acquainted with basic legal terms associated with particular area of law, as well as with structures and style of various legal text genres. The exercises enable better comprehension of each topic and the appropriate use of legal terms. Sections of presentation skills and academic writing have been included, as well as a bilingual English-Croatian and a monolingual English glossary of legal terms .
