Sažetak
The study examined 84 patients and their 84 closely related family members, including the family attitude toward schizophrenic disorder and the future of the schizophrenic patients. The common attitude among key family members towar the schizophrenic disorder is mostly positive and studying their opinios about the disorder and potential future of the schizophrenic family member we estimated a statistically significant correlation. The study has not determined the influence of the demografic features previous family disorder history among the key family members of the schizophrenic patients on their opinions about the schizophrenic disorder and the future of the schizophrenic family member. In the case of severe psychopatological disorder symptoms in the schizophrenic patients, the key family members would have a negative attitude toward the patient's future, whereas the less noticable psychopatological disorder symptoms presence would contribute to a more positive attitude tovard patient's future. The key family member's attitude toward patient's future has not been influenced significantly by their disorder's duration, psychotic decompensation number and the time spent in hospital.
