Sažetak
This paper presents an experimental investigation of the performance of newly developed four-port IC-Stripline. In the first step, the two-port IC- Striplines are designed having septum manufactured on printed circuit board. Two different design patterns of the septum layout are investigated. One pattern will be used later on in the septum design of the four-port IC-Stripline to enable port isolation. The experimental investigation is performed by measurements of the reflection coefficient value and EM coupling between the septum of the two-port IC-Stripline and a microstrip line. In the second step, according to the obtained results the four-port septum is designed and the performance of the four- port IC- Stripline is measured. Finally, the microstrip line is the excited by the common mode and differential mode by a hybrid and the differentiation of the electric field and magnetic field emissions due to different excitation is demonstrated using the four-port IC-Stripline up to frequency of 1 GHz.
