Sažetak
Employing qualitative interpretivist approach our study investigates the meaning and the role of personal ties named ‘veza’ in the former transitional economy Croatia. The paper demonstrates significant and positive role of ‘veza’ in entrepreneurial process. However, the findings also reveal negative meanings associated to ‘veza’ and emergence of phenomenon called ‘uhljeb’.
