Sažetak
The author analyzes the Croatian legal framework regarding the possibility of prisoners to exercize their religious rights during their sentence. To establish whether the existent legal framework is followed in practicea, the author conducted a survey which consisted of semi-structiured interviews with authorised religious persons from five religious communities and with civil servants from the Ministry of Justice. He also obtained official data from the Ministry of Justice. The research showed that in Croatia equal access to religious rights does exist.
