Sažetak
Karstic area of the basin Kupa and tributaries is located in the northern part of the karst of Croatia, which belongs to the overgrown karst, and mostly covers the region of Gorski kotar. Since there are four karstic rivers in this area rich in water resources, spectral analysis of hydrological and meteorological data from this basin will give a better insight into their vulnerability and the possibility of better protection. The Fourier analysis was carried out using data of mean daily flows on hydrological stations Zamost 2 at Čabranka, Turkovići at Gornja Dobra and Stative Donje at Donja Dobra and daily precipitation data on meteorological stations Parg, Karlovac and Ogulin. Flow and precipitation spectra were compared between the two periods, (1951-1980) and (1981-2012) at each station, but also between the flow and precipitation spectra. At all stations it was noted that the flow and precipitation in the earlier period (1951-1980) the values during the year were balanced without special emphasis on the extreme. In the recent period (1981-2012), the extremes in the spectrum were more pronounced by intensity and sometimes by incidence, while the intensity during the rest of the year decreased. Spectral analysis of daily flow and precipitation data showed unquestionable change of flow regime.
