Sažetak
The objective of the analysis is to investigate the structural strength of the pontoon -displacement 10600 t in fulfillment of requirements for direct calculation of the classification societies Lloyds Register. 3-hold (tank) 3D FEM MAESTRO model was generated in accordance with LR Rules and Regulations for the Classification of Ships (Pt 3 & 4) , July 1999. Finite element model (PS side) contains 3730 nodes ( 22380 degrees of freedom), 3476 finite macroelements ( girders, stiffened panels, transverse beams, pillars, triangles) Four given sagging ( LC1 : Mstatic + Mwave; p=10t/mm2 on deck; T=5.5m; LC2 and 3 : Mstatc; forklift 25t; LC4 : Mstatc; submerged pontoon h=6m above deck ) supplied by the Builder, were generated using given weight. This Report gives: • FEM model description for direct calculation procedure (Pt3,Ch1,section 2) • Response analysis for four given loadcases (deflections, stresses) • Structural adequacy calculation - normalized safety (adequacy) factor g for all structural elements including control of buckling modes Safety factor = (1+g) / (1-g) • Carrying capacity calculation for five given test loadcases Report describes recommendations for change of scantlings based on 3D MAESTRO FEM calculations. New scantlings are given in the enclosed drawings. For final design the analysis of carrying capacity is performed for the selected test loads supplied by the Builder.
