Measurement of titanium dioxide portion, 9.46 %, in red mud from ex-aluminium plant in Obrovac, Croatia, provides stronghold for seeking opportunities of titanium dioxide obtaining by hydrometallurgical route. Sulphuric acid can be suitable leaching agent for that purpose.
