Sažetak
In the present study, the influence of niobium at the start of the plastic flow of material in deformation zone was determined. Static tensile tests simultaneously with thermography were used on low carbon steel without niobium and the steel with the same chemical composition but different addition of microalloying element niobium. The conducted research has clearly revealed the changes in deformation behavior of steels at the start of the plastic flow of material. A comparison in deformation behavior of steel without niobium and steel with addition of microalloying element niobium has shown significant impact of niobium. Also, various influences of different niobium content on the occurrence of inhomogeneous deformation were observed.
