Sažetak
To predent an unusual case of six permanent mandibular incisors found in 10-year-old female of Croatian descent. This case is of special interest because of the bilateral presence of supernumerary teeth with fully developed crowns and roots. Due to same incisors characteristics, sush as position in the arch, form and mesiodistal diameters, the supernumerary teeth were believed to be supplemental mandibular central incisors.Mesiodistal crown diameters were of average values for the incisors of Croatian population. Her dental practitioner stated that patient had the same condition in her deciduous dentition. There was a previous record of extraction of two supernumerary deciduous incisors, but no radiographic, photographic or similar documentation. This case of bilateral completely erupted supernumerary teeth is extremely rare.Only one case report describing a bilaterally completely erupted supernumerary tooth, found in the incisor region of mandible of the 19-year-old Japanese female, had appeared in the literature. This would appear to be a first case report presentinga bilaterally completely erupted supernumerary tooth in the mandibular incisor region in the Caucasian population.
