Sažetak
The first result extending the classical Littlewood-Paley inequality to other than the dyadic intervals was proved by L. Carleson. We will present Rubio de Francia's inequality, which is a Littlewood-Paley inequality for arbitrary intervals. Instead of following the original proof, a time-frequency perspective by M. T. Lacey will be considered. At the end we will give an application to Fourier multiplier.
