Sažetak
I would like to discuss the following questions: 1) What are the main social, institutional and economic causes that the number of older workers (55-65) so much increased in Croatia in last twenty years? 2) What is general attitude of Croatian employers towards older workers and women with regard to their skills and working performance? 3) Which aging theories mostly correspond with Croatian situation regarding the late work employment: disengagement theory, activity theory or conflict theory? *Are main aging theories relevant for Croatian situation with late work employment at all?
