Sažetak
Contemporary marketing and sales require the application of tools that contribute to better reaching the customer who is changing its own habits and behavior. In addition, technology and its achievements must be used as they demonstrate high potential for influencing an improvement of the results of marketing efforts. Social media such as blogs may represent a significant tool in communication with the customers of today and may contribute to different aspects of sales and, eventually, to a sales increase. The main aim of this paper is to examine the specific features of the best sales blogs as a potentially powerful sales booster and a communication tool in today’s digital economy. The study findings will be added to the body of knowledge with specific insights on blogs utilized in sales and in marketing communication. Moreover, the identified common characteristics of sales blogs and bloggers, and the role of blogs in communication can be used by companies in their business operations in order to improve their marketing outcomes and overall results.
