Sažetak
The paper deals with analysis and estimation of the grains production status indicating significance of agricultural and economic development as well as causes and consequences of decreasing grains production and utilization. Based on the obtained results agrarian policy measures aiming to increase grains products manufacture, processing and finishing will be proposed. Due to its time dimension, plant production in the Republic of Croatia is characterized by the seasons. Thus, it is included in the extractive activities. Grains productions are complementary ones and are a condition of propulsive activities affecting numerous complementary productions.
