Sažetak
Business and technological systems of bus operators are generally based on registers whose data exchange one of the key drivers of optimization work, starting with the simple automation of existing processes through a comprehensive transformation of the system and the construction of modern user-oriented services. Additional impetus for such change is a foreseeable need for interoperability of national systems of registers and system states of the European Union. Planning mobility involves working with traffic engineers who model the transport route, destination and travel time. Good transport planning and efficient exchange of data between the bus operators result in more efficient use of public transportation and the use of sustainable modes of travel. At the heart of this paper is road transport of passengers in Croatia, but it is necessary to analyze the road transport of passengers as a whole to provide the actual situation on the transport market in European Union.
