Sažetak
The southern, marginal part of the Pannonian Basin is located in the Republic of Croatia and covering the area of about 26000m2 (squer)(Fig 1). The area is bordered by the Alpine foreland to the northwest and the inner Dinarides to the south. The study area consists of a great number of small depressions/sub-depressions, separated by relatively shallow elevated basement blocks.(Fig 2). The biggest Drava and Sava Depressions have Dinaric spreading direction NW-SE. The smaller sub-depressions, of different orientation are located along the border of the area or in the zones between the major depressions. This area is a hydrocarbon producing area consisting predominantly of gas, gas-condensate and small oil-gas fields. Large gas and gas-condensate fields with production of 4,96 x 106(milion) m3 /d of gas and 940 t /d condensates are situated in the northern area, central part of Drava Depression respectively and 60% of total production in study area relateded to these gas and gas condensate fields. Geological, hydrodynamic, thermal complexity and hydrocarbon differences of these areas enable the division in several main petroleum systems, which correspond to present depressions. Petroleum systems belong to the class of typical systems, considering the established presence of source rock, reservoir rock, seal rock and overburden rock and the critical moment of hydrocarbon generation, migration and accumulation processes.
