Sažetak
Basic data on the nickel-based alloys, classified as highly corrosion resistant materials are presented in the contribution. Peculiar features of welding of these important, but relatively high-priced alloys have been discussed. Beside the description of corrosion processes that may be encountered in the area of welded joints in Ni-based alloys, results of investigation of surface post-welding treatment upon the resistance to pitting corrosion of welded joints are also presented.
