Sažetak
Several trials of butterhead lettuce were carried out in the glasshouse during the winter seasons of 1982/83 and 1983/84 in Dalmatia conditions. Some lettuce varieties were grown at different plant spacing: 17, 20, 24, 26, and 29 plants per m2. Higher plant density gives larger yields but the lettuce heads are smaller.
