Sažetak
Summary: The article analyses andragogical/pedagogical implications of “knowledge society” that the authors denote as a political concept of (neo)capitalistic countries in which knowledge is treated as goods even though this perspective ought to refer to knowledge as a potential for personal and collective (social) development. One understanding of “knowledge society” is often equated with education and schooling which is not acceptable considering that knowledge is always a personal process and product established in social contacts, while education and schooling represent institutionalised “controlled distribution of information”. Paradox of the “knowledge society” is manifested in a great number of (functionally) illiterate inhabitants and dehumanisation of social relationships. Therefore, despite dynamically “distanced actions”, a legitimate question arises: To what extent are we educated for and in the “knowledge society”? Taking this in consideration, the authors plead for re-evaluation of existing values and implementation of critical andragogical/pedagogical theory and practice that would enable the subjects to create a more humane and better world. This would be the world in which knowledge and education would not represent a process of social stratification, which implies a contribution to creation of growing gaps between rich and poor. Abstrakt: In dieser Arbeit werden andragogische/pädagogische Implikationen der „Wissensgesellschaft“ analysiert, die Autoren mit dem politischen Konzept der (neo)kapitalistischen Länder bestimmen, in denen das Wissen als Ware betrachtet wird, obwohl die ursprüngliche Perspektive das Wissen als Potential der persönlichen und kolektiven (sozialen) Entwicklung verstehen sollte. Eine der Fassungen setzt oft die „Wissensgesellschaft“ mit der Ausbildung und Schulung gleich, was nicht akzeptabel ist, da das Wissen ein persönlicher Prozess und ein Produkt sind, die durch soziale Kontakte verwirklicht werden, und die Ausbildung und Schulung eine institutionalisierte „dosierte Mitteilung der Informationen“ ist. Das Paradox der „Wissensgesellschaft“ zeigt sich in der größen Zahl der (funktionalen) Analphabeten, in den dehumanisierten sozialen Beziehungen und eine legitime Frage ist, trotz der dynamischen „Aktionen auf Distanz“, in wie fern sind wir für die und in der „Wissensgesellschaft“ ausgebildet? Im Zusammenhang damit, setzen sich die Autoren für die Revalorisierung der bestehenden Werte und für die Implementation der kritischen andragogischen/pädagogischen Theorie und Praxis ein, die den Subjekten ermöglichen würde eine menschlichere und bessere Welt zu schaffen, die Welt, in der das Wissen und Ausbildung nicht ein Prozess der gesellschaftlichen Stratifikation, bzw. der Prozess der immer größeren Kluft zwischen Reichen und Armen sein wird.
