Sažetak
During three winter seasons and two terms of planting, a certain amount of ripe winter cabbage was left in the field. The number of wrapper leaves of heads damaged by low temperatures and the percentage of head weight loss were determined at several cultivars. The tested cabbage hybrid varieties fairly resist the temperatures down to -10 oC, and can remain in the field for more than two months from the beginning of their ripeness. After keeping them longer in the field the average number of damaged wrapper leaves which should be removed from the heads is from 2 to 8. In colder winter there were 8 and more damaged wrapper leaves per head and the weight losses of cabbage were more than 20 %.
