Sažetak
Precise power measurement is usually done at national metrology institutes. In recent years researchers have devoted substantial time toward a measurement of power under nonsinusoidal conditions, especially in power grids because of renewable energy increase. The challenge is not only to measure power at 50 Hz, but also to measure harmonics and inter harmonics. To measure power at needed accuracy, accurate and frequency independent current and voltage transducers are needed up to 100 kHz. In this paper an overview and state of the art is given for current transducers used for this purpose. This mainly includes AC shunts of coaxial design, calculable resistors, precise transformers and methods for their characterization.
