Sažetak
Main parameters regarding composition and properties of pumpable concrete are analyzed on the basis of the known theory and previous experimental work. The plug composition and the mechanism of plug occurrence in the pipeline are presented in detail. The rang of an optimum crushed aggregate grading is defined, and limitations regarding the particle shape are considered. The cement and fine aggregate particles are considered as a uniform mix. Particular emphasis is placed on more precise definition of concrete pumpability. Numerical for key parameters in the concrete mix design are presented.
