Sažetak
Prosthetic – orthopedic help is one of the rehabilitation services. The existence of this market is big amongst industrial companies, who are producing prosthetic products and information for orthopedic help – led to the continuation of standards. Standards are needed for the improvement within every industry, as long as they allow the transition from production of individual products to series and mass production. However, specific industrial methods (with the main goal to achieve economical goods), stand against the basic principle of prosthetic – orthopedic help with regards to individual work. The search for an optimal decision for a concrete person is not one of the main priorities within modern prosthetic – orthopedic help. It is necessary to interpret the person’s precise situation on the bases of standards. The person has not become a complete human being, but a collection of elements ; arms, legs, spin, and so on.
