Sažetak
Although Croatia has a good legislative basis for developing a high-level preservation of natural and cultural heritage, of which also intangible cultural heritage, there are more issues that still need to be tackled. Such is the issue of connecting ICH with new agricultural and economic demands arising within the society as a whole. These issues are dealt with in Croatia by different state and expert institutions who are still not enough connected mutually to come up with more adequate solutions for each ICH case and its local community what disables the implementation of the ICH and other heritage safeguarding measures in a specific geographical area. Inclusion of all the stakeholders, especially the bearers and entire local community, from the beginning till the end of the planning of such developmental projects should be ensured so as to enable long-term sustainable growth and preservation of cultural and natural heritage.
