Sažetak
Ecotourism activities have been expanding rapidly over the past two decades worldwide and further growth is expected in the future. Protection of natural and cultural heritage within tourist activities is the main goal. In space limited, high sensitive and isolated social and phisicogeographic units as small Croatian islands are, planning of ecoturism is searching for alternative way of sustainable development. Natural-geographic, as well as socio-geographic characteristics of this area, are the basics of spatial planning for the future.
