Sažetak
Croatia, as an Central European and a Mediterranean country, developed from a beginning (7th -10th century) until today under two kinds of cultural influences: an Central European which came through Austria and Hungary and Italian which came across Adriatic sea. Garden art in Croatia is numerous and meeting high standards in garden architecture inside Europe. Unfortunately is not enough known and many of gardens and parks are impoverished or disappeared during the 20th century. Authors of parks and gardens are mostly unknown. Croatia form part of two phytobioclimate: continental and Mediterranean and because of that a flora is different: on Adriatic sea a Mediterranean and in a Northern Croatia are plants from a Central Europe.
