Sažetak
In the village of Caska near Novalja on the Island of Pag (Croatia) - most probably the location of ancient Cissa - a fragment of Roman tile was found during the excavations conducted in 2008. It carries a fragmented stamp, which reads [C]AESAR III COS. In this contribution the author will attempt to determine the identity of Caesar mentioned therein and, consequently, the time when the tile was produced, but also its production provenance, all of which will enrich our knowledge regarding the economic routes and exchange in the Adriatic region.
