Sažetak
This paper present research and artistic reinterpretation of Mirila, funeral monuments widespread in the mountain region of Velebit in Croatia practiced until as late as the early 20th centuryn Different scholar like Radoslav Katičić and Mirijana Trošelj agree that mirila are a relic of a pre- Christian belief, proving this through field work in the Velebit area. This paper describe and analyze ambient Mirila performed by Bojan Gagić and Josip Zanki. Author use his experience as part of performative ethnographic statement, together with narration of participants of the ambient Mirila.
