Sažetak
This talk will address the issues of collaborative learning and peer-learning by presenting the case of introducing a group of 15 students of Business English to such practice. The participants took Business English 4 as an elective subject in their 4th semester of study. This classroom practice was introduced as a response to the need to create a more learner-centered classroom and in response to students’ requirement to discuss more varied and interesting topics. On the other hand/Furthermore we know that students do learn from each other in many ways and this spontaneous process reliance on each other has been turned into an organized/systematic classroom activity. The talk will focus on the following areas: the theory behind collaborative/peer-learning, the classroom procedure as applied in this case, analysis of students’ feedback collected with a questionnaire, and the results of the classroom observation by the language teacher.
