Sažetak
Unlike the assessment of aerobic power, where the test of choice is the measurement of maximum oxygen uptake combined with the determination of the anaerobic threshold, the evaluation of anaerobic capacity is still far from being at a satisfactory level. Consequently, various types of tests are being designed and proposed, involving intensive activities of short duration on the bicycle ergometer, the treadmill, the moving stairs, or the track. These tests primarily involve measurements of strength, work, running speed or concentration of lactate, their chief aim being the assessment of alactic and lactic capacity within the framework of anaerobic capacity.
