Sažetak
After the reasons for the comparison between Foucault and Chateaubriand are given and the typological distinction between utopias and heterotopias briefly explained, the elements of both of these ideal entities are traced in the prolific work of the two authors whose utopian and heterotopian visions are presented and interpreted. Finally, their view of revolutions is discussed, especially of the French Revolution, and a final reflection is offered on the relation of violence and universality in utopian thinking.
