Sažetak
Since 2006 the EU banned the use of antibiotics as growth promoters in diets for feeding animals used for human consumption. One of the possible replacements of antibiotics is organic acids. They have the role of optimizing the activity of enzymes digestion, relieving the metabolism and thus improve the health, utilization of protein and amino acids, and improved availability of minerals and trace elements. The study was conducted on three groups of broiler Coob. The control group was fed with feed mixtures without added organic acids. The first experimental group is given a combination of formic, propionic, lactic, citric and sorbic acids concentration of 0.4% in the feed mixture, while the second experimental group had the concentration 0.8 % of same combination of organic acids. It was monitored daily gain, feed intake, and health broiler of second week until the end of fattening. Statistically significant difference between groups was not observed.
