Sažetak
We present the results of the study of the profiles of the H gamma and H delta emission lines of CH Cygni during the period 1991-1995, i.e. from the beginning to the decline of its active phase. The four spectrograms taken one to two years apart show deep changes from the two peaked to the single and P-Cyg profile. We used these lines for the diagnostics of the geometry and physical conditions in the circumstellar envelope which engulfs the components of the symbiotic binary sistem and is produced by material expelled during the mass transfer from the cool component to the hot companion.
