Sažetak
In this paper, strategy of control and maintaining of pressure in chemistry research laboratories by means of the fume hood is analyzed. Fume hoods operation and their influence on the disturbance of room air pressure is analyzed. Besides that, different control systems for fume hood operation, control system operation for pressure maintaining and indoor air purity maintaining in laboratories are presented. Based on different laboratory requirements, operation of a number of fume hood units in the laboratory is analyzed. Fume hood application in the laboratories by means of the analytical approach is considered. Furthermore, the energy balances that define the design of laboratory air-conditioning systems are described. Different design solutions that satisfy criteria and standards of maintaining air microclimate in laboratories are listed.
