Sažetak
Social entrepreneurship in Croatia has emerged recently. As a new concept, its understanding is still not “constructed in policy and the general public. This paper will attempt to articulate what is understanding of social entrepreneurship in the policy and public discourse in Croatia. We will analyse the positioning of the concept in relation to other similar concepts in the third sector and embeddedness of terminology and meanings attributed to social entrepreneurship in our context. In particular, we will analyse the public attitudes and perceptions of key stakeholders and decision makers. The discussion will reflect the way in which an understanding of the sector has an impact on its visibility and represents a barrier to the further development
