Sažetak
Biotechnological domination of nature detect despotic tendencies of contemporary technocratic paradigm which reveals many serious concerns of ecological distortion and environmental degradation. Our world has become threatened by the industrial approach of absolute mastery over nature which is, ultimately, reduced only to the economical concept of the pragmatic utility, by instrumental use of nature, ignoring the fact of her inability of recovery. Problems of environmental dangers have grown from local to global problems ; from scientific and technical issues into the huge ethical problems ; from segmented ecological and environmental into complex bioethical and religious problems of further preservation of the Earth. Thatfor, environmental question can not be considered only from a technical- scientific or economic perspective. If the «homo technologicus» wants to remain «homo sapiens», he has to behave as «homo ecologicus». This article is going to point out some criticism and directions how to acchieve this. With this modest scientific judgment we attempt to point out the modern environmental risks and dangers which are necessarily indicateing the need for competence jurisdiction of ambiental bioethics integrated with the Christian ecotheology movement for fruitful contribution of their combined forces to provide bio-ethical and eco-theological stimulation for the enviroment protection. Development strategies should more think about survival dilemma of strong sustainable development, which should be transcended to inter-governance projects and include: ethical penetration into the economical- political- scientifical-biotechnological-cultural dimensions. The increase of scientific and technical power, above all nature, qualitativly determines otherwise human activity that requires an ethical responsibility. It must provoke conscious «conversion» and change of basic attitudes toward the world, to it's present and future and set up the moral limits to the exercise of technological power and industrial progress for proposing a new model of integral ecology.
