Sažetak
The EU Court of Justice has established itself as an important actor on the EU political scene. Through its interpretations, it necessarily makes choices which have (re)distributive effects. Due to the EU institutional set-up, the choices made by this court are difficultly amended by the political process. This article questions whether any internal reform is necessary, especially as regards the decision making practices in the Court, if the Court of Justice is to maintain its established authority and legitimacy.
