Sažetak
The presentation introduced the audience to the existence of a State agency called PONOVA which, much like Vugesta in Austria, and the Commissariat Général aux Questions Juives in France, and the Lippman-Rosenthal agency in German- occupied Holland, disposed of looted Jewish property on a systematic basis. It was also learned that cultural items of value confiscated from local Jewish owners were set aside in specially designated warehouses placed under the authority of the Ustasha Poglavnik, Ante Pavelic, who oversaw the ultimate fate of those items. The remainder of those Ustashi- ordered seizures fell into the hands of post-Liberation Yugoslav authorities and eventually ended up in State collections and government offices.
