Sažetak
Analysis of the nuclear safety is essential for the development of nuclear energy. During the accident in the nuclear plant, core is melting. Radio- active elements are released from fuel in the containment and grouped into categories according to similar properties. After the release from the power plant radioactive source term is measured in doses and its disper- sion into the environment is monitored. Some effects of received doses may not be seen immediately, sometimes it requires a longer time. It is very important to timely determine the direction of source term in order to undertake the necessary measures and actions to protect the human population. In order to be able to perform consequence calculation it is important to be able to predict available core radioactive inventory, address fuel, primary system and containment damage and radioac- tive materials transport mechanisms, and model dispersion of the effluents in the environment. The paper presents procedure for automatic preparation of radioactive inventory data (mass, activity) for severe accident (MAAP, MELCOR) or consequence calculation codes (RADTRAD) based on ORIGEN2 core depletion calculation. The verification of the procedure is performed using NPP Krsko RADTRAD calculation.
