Sažetak
On 18th July 2016 one specimen of tripletail Lobotes surinamensis (Bloch, 1790) (Lobotidae) was caught by fi shermen in the Lagoon of Marano and Grado (Gulf of Trieste). This is the fi rst record in the northernmost area of the Adriatic Sea and Mediterranean, too.
