Sažetak
Marriage and family are the most sensitive and complex issues facing the modern society and the Church. The new challenges confronting the Church's pastoral require authentic response through the spirit of the Gospel, clear, integrated and ecclesial guidelines. The current burning issues such as indissolubility of marriage, the possibility of giving the divorced access to the sacraments, homosexual union etc., caused uncertainty, ambiguity confrontations and different understanding. The authors approach these issues from theological- pastoral and spiritual-educational point of view. Socio-cultural context is analyzed and righteousness of theological-pastoral approach to the indissolubility of marriage and the possibility of giving the divorced access to the sacraments is examined. Understanding of the early Church and the Church Fathers is evaluated through patristics study taking into consideration the continuity of the Church doctrine and cultural context.
