Sažetak
Privatization as a world process in Croatia has its characteristics, especially in the field of tourism: slowness, domination of State ownership, lack of capital inflow and dubious position of small shareholders. Privatization in tourism includes sports as an important segment of the overall tourist offer and provided services. There are great possibilities for the improvement and development of sports motives of the tourists and the economical interest. The privatization as the first step of the process is the presumption of reestablishing of the logical circles - Private ownership - Capital - Enterpreneurship. Jornalism viewed within the process of privatization of tourism and sports may considerably contribute of the recognition of the new quality in the offer and services of the Croatian tourism industry.
